Carl father: "Your cultivation should be at Cultivation Student Stage, if only you could have been born earlier, you could have participated in the competition this year," said with a dull face.

Carl's father: "Son, you have to be careful, all the participants are older and stronger than you and most importantly Elder Gernard is a bit of eccentric fellow, so we can't tell what he thinks in mind, that's why you have to be more attentive and do your best to attract his attention".
Carl: "ok father, I will keep that in mind and do my best".
After everyone else got settled down in their respective seats & places.
Eune Dragnite slowly walked up to the stage platform.
Eune Dragnite: " Welcome everyone for this year family competition and may you have a good show to watch. Elder Gernard with your supervision we will begin this year's competition, do you like to say a few words?"
Elder Gerard: "Yes, I would like to!" gives an indecisive smile and continues.
"As everyone knows, it's a sudden announcement of disciples recruitment but it won't be last because from coming year's onwards we are going to recruiting '5' disciples from all the towns because of some major events in the future. so young talents must strive to do the best of their capability to join our institute".
This announcement caused lot's of discussions to rise among the crowd because they didn't know anything about so-called major events which made everyone puzzled but even, so they still felt excited because of the new announcement of recruitment of disciples every year.
Eune Dragnite: "Thank you Elder for your kind words," After thanking him, he turned to the crowd and announces "Since Elder Gernard is finished. Now, we will begin the family competition, this year we have 20 young talents who are going to participate for family competition, same as previous years, the competition will be knock out rounds based i.e., anyone can come on to the stage and challenge the opponent to display their talents. if someone gets defeated they have to step down from the stage and the next challenger gets to challenge and so on".
No one is surprised by this announcement of fighting as it is same as previous years also since it is the best way to disciple one's talent instead of random tournament method.
Generally in these kinds of knock out tournaments weaker persons will start the round, so that stronger ones won't clash with weaker ones and ones who break such sense of rules will be mocked for challenging weaker people. So mostly there won't chance of fighting the strongest and weakest at the same time as it is easier to judge the person's talent and nature of the person.
As everyone thought who would be one first to step on to the stage, a small kid of age '7' entered the stage with slow steps and declared his name as "Carl, I Request for some guidance in Cultivation" said resolutely.
