Carl started reading a short introduction to the book contents.

Carl could tell there is something which is his father is hiding which could be worrisome matter. Since he could not help his father with his current strength he didn't overthink it anymore.
He took the book in his hand and willed book to be stored in the spatial ring; then it disappeared to the ring, which made Carl intrigued was Cultivation World. After some morning practice, he went to his regular cave and took out a box which contains Triple warmer meridian opening pill which is given by Elder Gerrard.
Carl: " It's my Third meridian opening pill if i could open all my meridians i wonder how much faster i can cultivate?" question himself with an anticipatory smile.
He swallowed the pill and closed eyes to concentrate on absorbing its medicinal properties; as time passed he slowly started to control the medicinal energy guide on to both of hands where triple warmer meridians are present. Suddenly he coughed out some black blood again and the energy circulation in the body started to increase at a faster pace which he even couldn't control, At some point, he thought he blows up because of a swift flow of energy. Suddenly of both his spirits let out a sharp roar and instantly energy which was out of control had started to control again.
By the time he finished absorbing the energy, it was already dinner time so left the place for family dinner.
During dinner, Carl saw unexpected guests both Chloe and her Grandfather Galten in the dining hall.
Chloe and Carl were both busy talking about the matches and alchemy doubts he had about.
As Carl's father saw the pair, he said to mother: " It seems to our kid has already got a little girlfriend," said teasingly.
Chole looked at Carl's fuming by his father remarks and unwittingly he covered his head since he was father just teasing them but Chloe misunderstood his father's intention and her embarrassment on him.
Carl: "father, please stop teasing me, we are just friends".
Mother: "Husband, you shouldn't tease them, they just kids," said smilingly.
Galten: "Carl father, you have got good seedling, he will indeed group of dragon amongst men hahaha. I don't mind if Chole & Carl getting together, they are very good pair haha"
Chole: "Grandpa, even you also, humph," shouted as got up the table and left the dining hall embarrassedly.
Father: "Carl, you should go and pacify Chole" as he looked at Chole running out of the room warmly.
